We need to push this year's National Night Out event a little further down the line. It will be rescheduled for likely late September but the exact date will be confirmed soon. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we assure you this year's event will be one you DO NOT want to miss!

We know many of our community members were looking forward to joining us for this event, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for everyone, and we look forward to bringing the community together on a new date that will be announced soon.

⚠️⛈️🌪️ A TORNADO WATCH: has been issued for Gloucester County and other portions of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland until 9 PM EDT.

☔️ Thunderstorms this afternoon and evening will be capable of producing damaging winds, tornadoes, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

✅ Take steps to be prepared now, such as charging devices and securing outdoor items that can become projectiles.
Please take heed to this warnings. The conditions are right for a dangerous storm. Take all precautions. Be safe. Thank you.

⛈️ The risk of severe thunderstorms and flash flooding for today has increased. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds, tornadoes, flash flooding, and large hail. A Flood Watch is in effect for our area and region. Multiple rounds of storms are expected. Not all areas may receive severe weather. Have a plan and be prepared regardless!⚠️

🌡️ Elevated humidity and high heat remain a concern, especially to those with chronic health issues, or sensitive populations like the very young or elderly. Limit outdoor activities, when possible, to reduce heat related effects.

✅ Remain alert for changing weather conditions, and seek shelter indoors if you hear thunder, or if situations worsen.

⛈️ A significant weather

event is looking more likely Saturday. Multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected, which may begin before noon and extend after sunset. There is a significant risk of wind damage, along with a notable risk of flash flooding and even some potential for tornadoes. ⚠️
✅ Stay weather aware Saturday, especially 600 pm and later when the heavier storms are predicted to arrive.

⚠️🥵 Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories are in effect for our entire area for Wednesday. Highs in the upper 90s to near 100° and maximum heat indices between 100-109° for most of the area, including the NJ Shore and DE Beaches.

Isolated storms possible late north of Philly. There is also potential for smoky conditions to develop as Canadian wildfire smoke filters into the region.
