We donated items to the local food bank in our area Allegheny Valley Association of Churches (AVAC) to help our families in need

We were able to donate to Harrison Hills Volunteer Fire Company so they can order some items they are in need of !!

Our organization helping the community during this crisis. We have extended our services in the following ways and hope to do more if we can!

$750.00 Salvation Army for their food pantry
$750.00 AVAC for their food bank
$600.00 For pizzas from Foxes to be sent to AVH nurses, doctors and staff
$500.00 AVH Sensitivity Room at the Hospital
$400.00 Anchor Inn to help offset their expenses because we are not holding meetings there
$400.00 for Anchor Inn to use for any EMT's, Doctors, Nurses, First Responders of any type who order their lunch or dinner

Our annual Christmas luncheon is coming up next Tuesday at the Legion in Brackenridge. Our program starts at 11:30 sharp, so be in your seats by then. We should plan on arriving by 11:15am. I’m looking forward to hearing our fine Highlands choir

It's that time of year again and we are busy planning our 32nd Highlands Area Rotary Club Choral Festival. It is an amazing community event bringing several of our local schools together for a wonderful night of music!

So far we have 6 schools in participation: Highlands, Freeport, Springdale, Kiski, Deer Lakes, and Burrell. The directors will showcase 15 minutes of their chorus, show choirs, honors choir, and/or jazz ensembles.

Rotary is looking for advertisers for our program books!! Rotary is a community organization that uses funds to give scholarships to the Highlands District, participates and funds community events, and sponsors local individuals or groups.

Please fill out the forms below and email or mail to the attached chair organizers.

We hope to see you for this inspirational night of music!!!

We had a wonderful guest speaker today, Susan Evans. Susan is in remission from ovarian cancer and has been speaking to a number of civic groups about her experience and about her book about it titled, “Don't Write The Obituary Yet,” with Dr. Thomas Krivak, one of Pittsburgh's noted oncologist. Her presentation and the book are somewhat humorous accounts of her journey, despite the seriousness of this deadly disease. Susan is a past president of the Bradford (PA) Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow.

Book proceeds go directly to the Evans-Krivak Gynecological Cancer Research and Education Fund.
