Shop our Dino-mite Scholastic Book Fair June 8–13 at the Community Library of Allegheny Valley and help support our Summer Reading Program.

Every book purchased helps fund hands-on programs, family events, prizes, crafts, performers, and literacy activities for children, teens, and adults throughout the summer.

A new story is up at our Natrona Heights Valley Points YMCA Story Stroll! We are now featuring "If You Plant a Seed" by Kadir Nelson.

Be on the lookout, this story will be moving to an outdoor location this summer for more families to enjoy☀

Did you know there were 2 American Freedom Trains? The 1st train was a 7-car traveling museum that toured all 48 contiguous states from Sept. 1947- Jan. 1949 to promote patriotism and safeguard foundational documents. It attracted over 3.5 million people. Learn more interesting facts at the new library WHO KNEW? presentation on Tuesday, June 16 at 6:00 pm. Registrations are encouraged.

Join us tonight for our third "Who Knew? On the Road" program at Central Presbyterian Church in Tarentum. We will be sharing stories of local veterans throughout history and exploring local memorials. All are welcome and no registration is needed. We hope to see you there !

Make plans to join us for our spring "Who Knew? On the Road" program at Central Presbyterian Church next Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00pm. In honor of Memorial Day, we are featuring a special presentation honoring the stories, service, and experiences of veterans from our community.

This program is open to the public and no registration is necessary. Refreshments will follow the program.
