Leading up to the big cheetah birthday bash, we will be sharing fun facts about our cheetahs. Virginia Safari Park is the only place in the entire country that visitors can see a King Cheetah! Originally thought to be a separate subspecies, the King Cheetah is an African Cheetah that features rare recessive genes. Their color variation is naturally occurring and creates a unique pattern; the coat features thick blotchy patterns instead of the defined spots.
