Last week, stopped by Future Scholars LLC for a mini Touch-a-Truck and K9 Indy meet-and-greet with some of our youngest community members! 🚓🚲🐾

Officer Pazsak brought the bicycle, the little ones got to explore the cruiser up close, and K9 Indy was more than happy to soak up all the pets and attention.

Thank you to Future Scholars for having us!

Tomorrow morning, will participate in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Connecticut.

Our runners will depart from McDonald’s on New Haven Road at 9:30 AM and travel approximately 3.57 miles through the streets of Naugatuck before passing the Flame of Hope to the Waterbury Police Department at the Spring Street town line, continuing its journey toward the 2026 Special Olympics Connecticut Summer Games.

Motorists should expect brief traffic delays as runners and es**rt vehicles make their way through town.

If you see the Torch Run along the route, give our runners a wave, a cheer, or a honk of support as they help raise awareness and funds for the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Connecticut.

Keep an eye out for sponsor signs displayed along the route recognizing our local businesses and organizations that generously supported our fundraising efforts. We are grateful for their donations and continued commitment to helping Special Olympics athletes succeed both on and off the field.

Every mile run helps support year-round sports, health, and leadership programs that empower athletes of all abilities to compete, achieve, and inspire!
