Good afternoon, Citizens! 👋🏽

‼️ This is a reminder that Ohio is under a burn ban. ‼️

Ohio Revised Code 1503.18 is a law that prohibits outdoor open burning in the months of March, April, May, October and November from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ⏰

If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Fire Administration and speak with our Fire Bureau, Doug Woodyard, during business hours at 330-833-3865 or call your local fire station.

Please do your part to help prevent wildfire.

Have a happy Thursday!

REMINDER - The Ohio statewide tornado drill/test will be conducted tomorrow morning at 9:50am, March 18th. Sirens will sound for approximately 3 minutes.

This serves not only as a test of equipment, but also a reminder to have a safety plan in place in the event that a Tornado Warning is issued for your location. Do not solely rely on outdoor warning sirens for warning as this technology is outdated and only useful outdoors in the immediate area of a siren. Have multiple ways to receive warnings; weather radios, built-in phone alerts, ONW mobile app, etc.

As we head into severe weather season, have a safety plan in place and practice it. Severe weather can change rapidly and only minutes could save your life!

With the possibility of heavy snow accumulation, please be sure your exhaust vents for your furnace, hot water heater and any other appliances are clear. If they become blocked by snow they can cause deadly carbon monoxide to build up in your house.

It’s been a very successful 10 years, but we have chosen to end The Freddie Anania Memorial Car And Cycle Show. We want to thank everyone who has made this show a success—the workers who put the show together, the kitchen staff who prepared and served the food, the people who made and donated raffle baskets, the retailers who donated giveaways, the people selling raffle tickets, those that brought their cars to display, Flags of Freedom for the beautiful flag displays, the entertainers, and the community for attending. A special thank you to Harvey’s Auto Sales and Tire Center for their many years of sponsorship!
Thanks again to everyone for making this show a huge success over the years!
We hope everyone continues to support our veterans!!!!
