On Sunday evening, August 23, 2026, at approximately 6:39 PM, Upper Nazareth Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Gracedale Avenue and Bath Pike for a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Today was a bittersweet morning as we said farewell to our 1998 Freightliner tanker/pumper.

For more than 25 years, this truck proudly served Upper Nazareth Township, responding to countless calls and standing ready whenever our community needed it. It has been a dependable part of our department and holds a special place in the memories of many who served alongside it.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye to a piece of apparatus with so much history, we’re excited to see it begin its next chapter. We wish it all the best in its new home in Indiana, where it will continue its calling of serving and protecting another community.

Today was an incredible day for our department and community partners!

We were honored to attend the White Cap grand opening, where their leadership team presented a $5,000 donation to both the Upper Nazareth Fire Department and Hecktown Volunteer Fire Co. #1

On behalf of both departments, thank you to White Cap for your generosity and commitment to supporting the first responders who serve our communities every day. Partnerships like these help provide the equipment, training, and resources needed to keep our firefighters and residents safe.

Crews responded quickly at 13:34 for a reported Mobile Home fire in the Wind Gap local. When crews arrived, they established a water supply and worked on suppression within the dwelling.
