This morning, crews were dispatched to the 100 block of El Reno Ave for a residential structure fire. Upon arrival, units quickly established a water supply and advanced into the home, successfully knocking down a fire in the garage before it could spread to the rest of the residence.

We would like to thank all of the mutual aid departments that assisted on the scene for their support and teamwork.

A decision can change lives forever. As graduation season approaches, we encourage students, parents, and our entire community to have important conversations about safe and responsible decision-making.

Choices involving distracted driving, impaired driving, speeding, or reckless behavior do not only affect one person, they impact families, friends, first responders, and entire communities. In a matter of seconds, lives can be permanently changed.

We are grateful to the SADD program, school staff, emergency responders, and all participating agencies who helped make this educational demonstration possible. These events are difficult to witness, but they are designed to create awareness and start conversations that can save lives.

To all of our young adults preparing to celebrate graduation: make smart choices, look out for one another, and remember that every life matters.

At approximately 13:54 hours, members were dispatched to the 4000 block of Jodi Court in Bethlehem Township for a 3-alarm dwelling fire. Crews assisted with fire suppression, overhaul, and cleanup operations.

This evening, crews assisted with a 2nd alarm structure fire alongside Palmer Township at the Palmer View Apartments. Units worked together to bring the incident under control and ensure the safety of residents and responders.
