We will be joined by Moravian Hall Residents! Afterwards, we will color with chalk and enjoy bubbles on the sidewalk near the entrance!

Meet local author Elle Backenstoe, who has published both Adult and Young Adult romantasy (that’s romantic fantasy) novels!

She will discuss her Welsh mythology-inspired novel “A Vow of Shadows” and its upcoming sequel- the story follows a woman marked by Death who makes a fateful deal with a reaper.

She will also discuss her writing process, and how to self-publish your own books! You can find all of Elle’s books in the library! Registration is recommended.

Summer Reading isn’t just for kids! Teens and adults can sign up at the front desk starting June 1st to participate in Unearth A Story! You’ll receive a sheet to track reading progress, with small prizes and raffle tickets awarded as you meet reading goals or complete challenges!

The Children’s Summer Reading Program Schedule is finally HERE!!

We’re calling all kids ages 12 and under to roll up their sleeves and dig in while we Unearth A Story!

This year will feature SEVEN weeks of programs exploring dinosaurs, rocks (and minerals), gardening, active outdoor play, archeology, storytelling and so much more!

Kids can learn about fossils from a real paleontologist, compete in dinosaur trivia, dig in the dirt, meet reptiles from the Lehigh Valley Zoo, and earn fun prizes all summer long while keeping their reading skills sharp at the library!

Registration begins June 1st and the programs run from June 15th-August 1st!
