These were found Tuesday night at our Plainfield Community Park at Kesslersville. If they are yours, they were turned in to the SBRPD.

Someone might be a tad bit late for work this morning. A set of keys were found at Plainfield Park on Gap View Rd last night. If they are yours, or if you are waiting for someone because they are frantically ripping their house apart looking for their lost keys, contact SBRPD. We might just be able to help. 610.759.8517

Friends of Plainfield Township Recreation,
As many of you know, the Nazareth Borough Municipal Authority has purchased the Hower Farm, which is adjacent to the Plainfield Township Recreation facilities (Achenbach’s Grove/Farmer’s Fair and Plainfield Community Park at Kesslersville). The NBMA is planning to use the property to dispose of Class B Biosolids, a processed version of sewage sludge.

To learn more about the proposed use and the potential impacts to the Plainfield Township Recreation properties, you are encouraged to attend the Nazareth Borough Municipal Authority meeting to be held on Thursday, January 20 at 7:00PM. The meetings are held at the Nazareth Borough Council Hall located at the corner of W. Center St and S. Church St. in Nazareth.

Nazareth and Plainfield Township residents are strongly urged to attend this meeting to stay informed of the proposed project.

Official communication from the Manager of the Plainfield Township is attached. Please use common sense and follow all recommended Federal and State guidelines.

Recreation is important, however your health and the health of the community is more important. Be smart with social distancing when you are outdoors and avoid physical contact.

- The Recreation Trail is open, however, please don't walk in large groups. Keep a safe distance to others on the trail, but mostly, be friendly.

- -The basketball court and tennis court is open, HOWEVER, please keep small groups and we recommend you DO NOT share a basketball!

- The playgrounds at both Municipal and Community Parks are open at this time, HOWEVER, realize these facilities are NOT sanitized. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to use the playground equipment due to the potential spread of the virus.

We are all in this together. Make the most of it and be mentally and physically well. If you need help, reach out. If you can offer help to a elderly neighbor, reach out. Drop sanitized items off at their doorstep. Be a light in this time of darkness.

When this is over, we will all be relieved and appreciate how valuable freedom of congregation really is.

Residents, friends and all users of the Plainfield Township (PA) Recreation facilities:
We are looking for your input to help us develop more diverse recreation to serve more people of all ages throughout our township. The term "recreation" has many meanings to people. There are no wrong answers.
However, without YOUR response, we can only go with the limited answers we get through communication with current users of our facilities who attend our meetings.
Please take 10 or 15 minutes of your time to fill out the linked survey and make your voice heard. The results will be used to prioritize the future of our township parks, recreation trail and other recreation facilities.
Your participation is greatly appreciated!

Please take the survey titled "Plainfield Township Community Park Master Site Plan and Overall Parks/Recreation Survey Due Friday, February 14, 2020 by 4:00 PM". Your feedback is important!
