It is spring time and also time for our second CASA class of the year to start up. If you or anyone you know, would like to become an advocate for an abused and/or neglected child, please contact me at 402-873-6339 or 402-209-0858. Together we all can make a difference in a child's life while they are in the court system!

We are helping even more of our 3A CASA children by having six new advocates from our latest class sworn in by Judge O'Neal! They will be incredible advocates!

Next January 5th, we will be having our CASA Brown Bag Lunch group here at our offices. You bring your own lunch and the comradery will be supplied free of charge via all your fellow CASA advocates! Join us as a good time will be had by all with, sharing, learning and great fellowship!

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to offer our 3A abused and neglected children in CASA, a gift at Christmas, a birthday gift and a maybe a few small presents throughout the year? Can we talk about pulling something together with a committee? Thanks Amy Boyer for the reminder yesterday after court!

April is Child Abuse Awareness month. All children are precious and deserve a wonderful, loving and supportive home. CASA's help by giving these children a voice in the courtroom and monitoring their case until it is safe for them to return home or they have found a new home.

Kids who are abused or neglected and placed in the system go through a lot. This young girl explains how it feels.
