🚨🚨🚨 An independent contractor, working for the Nederland Downtown Development Authority, is currently scheduled to install signage panels for the new community wayfinding signs. These signs will help visitors find their way to popular destinations throughout Nederland. This will be a great asset to our community. The signs have been custom designed to be visually attractive and to reflect the distinctive identity of Nederland.

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 4th.

The contractor will be mounting the panels on the existing footers completed in October 2025. They will also be completing stonework on the bases of some signage locations. This entire process may take 2-3 working days to complete. During that time, the work should be surrounded by warning devices to protect pedestrians. If there are any changes, communication will be made.
