Update: the center will be closed Friday, August 21, as we wait for our AC to be repaired .If you need anything , don’t hesitate to call me Hugs ,Heather

The center will be CLOSED today and tomorrow August 19 and August 20. Our
A/C is not working and it is very hot inside. I will update thursday afternoon, and let ya’ll know if repairs are done for Friday. If any senior needs anything, please call me at 409-332-5242. Hugs, Heather🩷

🎉 On August 17, we celebrate United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County Day, and 100 years of local impact!

We did our chair exercise, enjoyed Moments with Betty, Samaritan Counseling and Wellness, and had the pleasure of Lula, Rosefield Court Assisted Living , come and talk to us about Heart health and questions to ask our doctors! Great information.
I truly appreciate the time that groups in our community dedicate to us. Everyone left happy, smiles on their faces and full bellies. -My cup runneth over-

We are honored to receive a proclamation from the City of Nederland naming August 17, 2026, as United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County Day in recognition of our centennial celebration and National Nonprofit Day. 💙

Presented at City Council by the mayor and council members, this meaningful recognition celebrates 100 years of local service, partnership, and impact. Pictured are CEO Janie Johnson and Board Member Chrissy Russell.
