Mrs. Junot’s Engineering I class annual 3D name plate project! The students design, draft and 3D print a name plate for themselves and a chosen staff member. We know some teachers were excited to finally receive one!

🐾 That’s a wrap on another amazing year at Big Ned Dog Grooming!
We had the pleasure of spending our last grooming days with: Patches, Scruff, Daisy, Sargent, Trooper, Freckles, Sailor, Sunny, Maximus, Cowboy, Tater, Bandit, Howdy, Treasure, Jett, Jasper, Cassie, Benny, (big) Gus, Nanook, and (little) Gus.
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients for supporting our students and trusting us with your furry family members this year. We loved every wagging tail, wet nose, and happy bark! ❤️
Have a fantastic summer, and we’ll see yall next year 🐶

Congratulations to Nederland CTE Students of the Year for 2026, Jazmyn Martinez and Phillip Meyer. Our CTE programs have given them great paths forward to follow, but they both have both given our CTE program so much more. Congratulations and thank you from the Nederland CTE department.

Here is some footage from our Mrs. Rhodes Superhero Landing from last week. They were using known data get make predictions for the future with Regressions. Students had to determine which model was the best fit and then solve for the number of rubber bands needs for our Heroes to land safely on the gym floor from the top of the bleachers (381cm). Topics of explanation and residuals were seen in real application. Check comments for videos.

Nederland Fire Department came and spoke with Mrs. Wolf’s Principles of Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security class about working with Fire and EMS services. We appreciate everything NFD does for our community.

The Power of Nurses. Nederland CTE wishes to Celebrate Recognize Appreciate and Praise our two dedicated nurses during National Nurses Week. Their hard work and dedication to their field and our students does not go unnoticed in our department and their successful programs speak for themselves. Plus, it would be a lot quieter and less fun without them in our building. Thank you Mrs. Carly Block and Mrs. Kim Nelson for all you do for us and your students.

After 12 years of the apprentice program under Coach Kilchrist’s instructions.

Billy Griffin, the director of the Charlie Leblanc training facility spoke to future participants in the program. He reassured that the program will continue on and build on what Coach Kilchrist established.
