🌳🖤💛 Campus Grounds Update 💛🖤🌳

Nederland ISD is committed to maintaining safe and welcoming learning environments for our students, staff, and community.

After evaluation, there is a tree at Central Middle School and a tree at Hillcrest Elementary School that have been identified as safety hazards due to disease and internal deterioration. To help ensure campus safety, these trees will need to be removed.

While we understand the value and beauty trees add to our campuses, safety remains our top priority. Nederland ISD is committed to replacing the removed trees and will be replanting new trees to continue enhancing our school environments for future generations.

Nederland ISD Elementary Meet the Teacher is scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026!

Families will have the opportunity to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, and get ready for an exciting new school year.

🕒 Times by Grade Level:
• Pre-K, ECSE & Life Skills: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
• Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 4:00 – 5:00 PM
• 2nd & 3rd Grade: 5:00 – 6:00 PM
• 4th & 5th Grade: 6:00 – 7:00 PM

⚠️ Important: Student registration must be completed online before teacher assignments will be distributed.

We can't wait to welcome our Bulldogs back for the 2026-2027 school year! 🖤💛

🎓 From Hillcrest Halls to High School Graduates! 🎓

Tonight is a truly monumental night! We want to send a massive congratulations to the incredible students who once walked the halls of Hillcrest Elementary and will be walking across the stage tonight to receive their high school diplomas.

It feels like just yesterday you were navigating the elementary school hallways with oversized backpacks, missing teeth, and huge dreams. Today, we get to watch you step into the next chapter of your lives as accomplished, resilient young adults.

Whether your next step involves college, entering the workforce, joining the military, or taking on a brand new adventure, please know that your Hillcrest family is cheering you on. We have loved watching you grow and couldn't be prouder of the milestones you have reached.
