Today at Needham Montessori our loving community teamed up with Generic Ministry, who is a Needham based non-profit organization that works with the unhoused population of Boston. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for what an amazing community we truly have. With some members stepping in to help put the meals together and other members who donated, today would not have happened without everyone's overwhelming amount of support and help. We as a community were able to put together over 50 meals to give back to the families around Boston, Thank you all so much. 🥰

Happy Monday, one of our beloved community members came to us to volunteer alongside Generic Ministry, ran by volunteers Generic Ministry has been serving unhoused families for over 20 years. Tomorrow our school and community, thanks to your donations and help, will be giving back by creating meals together to lend a helping hand. We are excited to experience such a project within our community.

Did you know that food insecurity since 2024 has been affecting over 1 in 3 households in Massachusetts? That translates to over 2 million adults. This has been showing significant increase from years before. and has raised a lot of concern for previous years and for 2026.

*Any families or community members that signed up to help with the project by bringing donations we please ask to wait until drop off tomorrow, thank you. ☺️

Our children are slowly turning Needham Montessori into a Winter Wonderland! ❄☃️ They have been working hard to create shiny beautiful masterpieces for our school Christmas tree🎄, along with classroom Christmas countdown chains! Not only have they been transforming our school, but they have also been working extremely hard on their songs for our Christmas Concert, which is this Friday December 19th. We are so excited for our community to experience this holiday season together. Stay tuned for any new updates or events. 📝📕

Needham Montessori School along with The Diaper Project, want to send our families and community members a huge thank you! With all your support and helping hands this diaper drive was a huge success, counting well over 20 packages of diapers/pull-ups and many formulas and wipes to go along with them! we genuinely could not have done it without our community, thank you all so much again. Wishing all a safe and healthy holiday season! 💜

The Winter Diaper Drive is ending this Friday! This drive that we have partnered with the Diaper Project to create within our community at NMS has and will continue to impact many families and children's lives so thank you very much. If any community members still want to participate or if you know of anyone who would love to help, we still have time so please don't hesitate.

- Wipes & Formulas please make sure they are sealed
- diapers and pull-ups can be opened but neatly packed to be donated or unopened

We want to give a huge thank you to our families here at NMS. We collected toy for Jake's Toy Mania presented by Christmas in the City.
