As our communities celebrate the birth of our nation, our flight crews remain standing by—ready to respond wherever we’re needed, whenever we’re needed. While you enjoy the festivities, we encourage everyone to take a few simple steps to help keep this holiday safe for all:

• Use fireworks legally and safely, and always follow local guidelines
• Keep a safe distance from launch areas
• Never allow children to handle fireworks
• Stay alert around water and use life jackets when boating
• Celebrate responsibly—don’t drink and drive

At ThedaStar, we’re proud to have team members with incredible stories of service — both past and present. One of our pilots, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, recently received a heartfelt gift from his sister: a handmade knit blanket crafted from shirts representing his time in the Coast Guard and throughout his aviation journey.

This blanket is more than just a keepsake — it’s a powerful reminder of the dedication and sacrifice that fuels the work we do every day.

As we celebrate , we also want to recognize and thank all the incredible firefighters, ground EMS crews, and first responders we work with every day. Your partnership, courage, and commitment make a lasting impact on every mission, and we’re honored to serve alongside you.

Back in July, Thedastar transported Brett for a life-threatening penetrating injury.

Everyday since, Brett has been fighting for his life and his recovery is nothing short of a miracle. He wouldn’t have made it this far without the incredible support of his tight knit family & a HUGE network of people constantly praying for Brett.

Thedastar was just one tiny piece of a very large puzzle that has played a part since Brett’s accident.

Brett, we can’t wait to have you visit the hangar as soon as you’re home, which we know won’t be too long—your determination is inspiring!
