On Monday, September 7, the Negaunee Senior Center will be closed for Labor Day. We will be open again Tuesday, September 8, for all our regular activities. If you have any questions, call the center at 475-6266.

It's going to be a great month here at the Senior Center. Special events, more aerobics and chair yoga class times, and our favorite game cribbage twice a week. :)

The Negaunee Senior Center will offer a Ladies Potluck on Friday, September 11. Gather your friends or come solo and meet some new friends. Bring your recipe to share! The event starts at 11 a.m. with the potluck starting around 11:30 a.m. RSVPs are required by Wednesday, September 9 by calling (906) 475-6266.

The Negaunee Senior Center has Mr. Coffee at 8:30 a.m. every Friday. Gents, come on down for free hot coffee (decaf available upon request) and good conversation. Not a coffee drinker? Other drinks are available for purchase. If you have questions, call the center at (906) 475-6266.

The Negaunee Senior Center has chair yoga Wednesday mornings! We now offer two classes. One starts at 9 a.m. and the other starts at 11 a.m.. Participants follow a routine on video. We have lots to choose from. If you have questions, give us a call at (906) 475-6266.

Penny Wars have begun! Come in to the Negaunee Senior Center any time Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this September to support your favorite football team.

This week at noon, Thursday September 3, a nurse from UP Home Health and Hospice will be at the Negaunee Senior Center for our free, drop-in blood pressure clinic. They can check your blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. There is a $5 charge for cholesterol checks. Thank you to U.P. Home Health and Hospice for providing this helpful service.
