Did you know?

Did you know that even though Mike’s name won’t be on the ballot, you can still write “Mike Slattery” on your ballot?

Just fill in the oval next to “write-in” and write Mike Slattery on the line! Easy peasy!

You don’t have to fill in the oval next to the only option on your ballot. VOTE MIKE SLATTERY!

Thank you to everyone for your support through this whole process. We are bummed to bring you this news.

Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible for a nonpartisan candidate to get on the ballot in a local level partisan race. Until Nebraska election laws are changed to make running for office equitable for all candidates, there will continue to be unnecessary hurdles in the way of independent/nonpartisan candidates.

Voters deserve choices on their general election ballots, but that won’t be the case for this race this year.

Thanks again for all of the kindness and encouragement that was extended toward this campaign. ☘️💚

And remember to VOTE November 5th!

Maybe you’ve seen it in the CASSGRAM…we will be at Lake Ridge Golf Course Clubhouse EVERY DAY next week from 6-8 gathering signatures to get Mike on the ballot!

Come out, sign the petition, and have a chat with Mike!

As good old Honest Abe always said, “Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people.”

Democracy happens when folks have more than one choice on their ballot this November.
