This event is open to anyone.
Due to a scheduling conflict at the North Pavilion, all vendors, veteran organizations, food service, and awards presentations will now be located at the Mead Lake Dam Pavilion.
Tournament Headquarters: https://maps.app.goo.gl/D3zophgewrfjMrg59
The pavilion offers ample seating, restroom facilities, a fishing pier, and a children's playground.
Our office staff and volunteers will be wearing orange shirts and yellow reflective vests. We will transition from the registration sites at the boat launches to the pavilion at approximately 10:00 a.m.
We have invited several veteran organizations and service providers to attend and discuss available benefits, programs, and resources. These organizations will be available at the Mead Lake Dam Pavilion from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A complimentary meal and drinks will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the pavilion.
We are planning food for approximately 50 attendees. If you plan to eat, please arrive early to help ensure food remains available.
Tournament registration will take place at both the North Boat Launch or South Boat Launch from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
At registration, each fishing party will receive:
Free items from our office
An overview of tournament rules
A unique tournament token that must appear in photographs of fish submitted for competition
Important: Participants must have access to a phone or camera to enter fish into the tournament.
To be considered for awards, all fish entries must be submitted to the contest director by 12:45 p.m. and must include the tournament token in the photograph.
Because this is a free community event, awards will be modest but will be presented in the following categories:
Top 3 Largest Musky
Top 3 Largest Walleye
Top 3 Largest Bass
Kayak Division – Top 3 Fish Overall (species does not matter)
In addition, we have a limited number of participation medals available for children 10 years old and younger who catch a fish during the tournament.
Awards will be presented at the Mead Lake Dam Pavilion following the conclusion of the tournament. Participants should plan to arrive at the pavilion by 1:30 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you on June 6 for a great day of fishing, food, fellowship, and community while learning more about the resources available to veterans and their families throughout Clark County.
