🏈 Youth Flag Football – Week 2 Standings

After two weeks of the 2026 Youth Flag Football season, here are the updated standings!

Big Ten:
Spartans 3-0-1
Badgers 3-1
Buckeyes 2-1-1
Wildcats 2-2
Wolverines 1-3

All teams, please remain on the field so we can take pictures. We will also take pictures with the Champs of each league after they are determined.

🥏 Fling into Fall Disc Golf Tournament – Pre-Registration Now Open!

With Autumn Feast quickly approaching, we are excited to announce that pre-registration is now open for the Fling into Fall Disc Golf Tournament at Schuster Park!

📅 Saturday, October 10th
📍 Schuster Park – Neillsville, WI
⏰ Tee-Off: 3:00 PM

Registration

Players who pre-register can arrive ready for the player meeting and tournament.

For those who do not pre-register, same-day registration will be available from 2:00–2:45 PM.

2:45–3:00 PM – Player Meeting

Groups will be organized and spaced out across the course
Course information and rules will be reviewed
Scorekeepers will be assigned

The Rec. Dept. will have Disc available for youth players to rent for those who do not own their own discs.

🏈 Youth Flag Football Announcements

The fields are ready to go to play our second week of Youth Flag Football!

The grass is currently slick but should dry up with the wind and sun out for the next two hours.

Games will be played at their designated fields at:

Varsity Field will host the Big Ten

Practice Football Field will host the PAC-10

🏈 Youth Flag Football Announcements
This Weekend’s Games Rescheduled

Due to the wet weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning, tomorrow’s Youth Flag Football games have been rescheduled to Sunday afternoon.

Games will be played at their designated fields at:

12:00 PM
12:45 PM
1:30 PM

2nd Half of the Season Update

Here is some information regarding the second half of our Youth Flag Football season:

All jerseys will be returned after the September 26th games so new teams can be created.

The Pac-10 will be adding a sixth team, the Bruins!

We are planning to host all games at the Varsity Football Field.

Games will be played on quarter fields instead of half fields.

The final scheduled games of the season will be held Friday night, October 16th, under the lights!

More information will be provided once the second half of the season begins.

We will see everyone this Sunday at the Practice and Varsity Football Fields, with games beginning at noon! 🏈

🏈 Youth Flag Football Update & Reminder

Saturday’s Youth Flag Football games are still being evaluated due to the weather forecast. A decision regarding this Saturday’s games will be made tomorrow, Friday in the afternoon.

Depending on the weekend forecast, games may be rescheduled for Sunday with game times at:

12:00 PM

1:30 PM

Another option may be to extend the Youth Flag Football season by one additional week. More information will be provided once a decision has been made.

📝 Homecoming Parade Permission Slip Reminder

Monday, September 21st, is the final day to turn in permission slips for Youth Flag Football players who would like to ride on the Recreation Department’s Youth Flag Football float in the Homecoming Parade. If your child would like to be on the float and has not had a permission slip signed, please stop in at City Hall or get in touch with Nolan via email or Facebook.

Permission slips received after Monday will not be accepted.

🏊 Pool Update:

The pool will be open starting Wednesday night for Adult Swim from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Thursday there will be Adult Swim from 5:30-6:30 then Open Swim to follow 6:30-8:00 PM.

Friday there is Adult Swimming from 5:30-6:30 pm.

🏈 2026 Youth Flag Football – Schedule

The 1st Half Schedule for the 2026 Youth Flag Football Program are now available!

This includes the schedules for both the Pac-10 and Big Ten divisions.

⚠️ Important Schedule Change – Saturday, September 26

Please be aware that there will be a different start time on Saturday, September 26, with games beginning at:

12:00 PM
12:45 PM
1:30 PM

This time change is being made to allow the Schools Fun Run to take place during our normal Youth Flag Football time. The Fun Run was previously delayed/canceled due to weather.

Please make sure to double-check your team's schedule for the September 26 games and plan accordingly.
