Good morning.. Just want to give an update on some things here at the Library, we just received some new books that we are working on to get out and also we had a generous donation of movies and we are working on those to have out as well, so by the end of the week and next week there will be new reading adventures to be had and exciting movies to watch, I will keep you posted as well as take photos so everyone can see what we have.
Also: on January 24th from 10am-2pm Karry Reeves from the Chanute DCF office will be here to help you with any questions you may have on all Kansas assistance available, so please stop in and speak with her.

Just letting you know that we are open Saturday, Dec 30th from 9-12, and we will be closed Monday, January 1st, so come in and get those last minute book or a few movies for the weekend.. Good afternoon… We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday, please come in and guess how much candy is in the Cookie Jar, on Friday, 12-8-23 we will announce the winner for that week and they will receive the Cookie Jar, Cookie Cutters and Christmas Doily’s. We will be doing this drawing with new items every week until 12-22-23 which the last winner will be announced.. We can’t wait to see everyone!!!

Good morning.. Just a reminder that the Library will be closed, 23rd,24th, and 25th for Thanksgiving, also on Monday the 27th from 11:00-12:30 we are doing Crafts with Miss Joan and this is for the kiddos and we will be painting some really cool sun catchers or you can use them as an ornament,(make sure you wear clothes that can get paint on them). We can't wait to see you all. All of us here at the Library want to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.🦃🍁🦃

Good afternoon.. The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd, Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th for Thanksgiving. Monday, November 27th from 11:00-12:30 we will be doing Crafts with Miss Joan, we will be making fun fish stained glass ornaments , so please come by and see us for a fun filled day also that day starts off the guess how much candy is in the cookie jar, and at the end of the week the winner will be announced and they will get to take the cookie jar, cookie cutters and a pot holder home, we will do this every week up until Christmas, we can’t wait to see everyone…
