We wanted to take a moment to thank these two lovely ladies and the dedicated team who worked so hard to help our little lady live her best life.

During covid, Ms. Heidi worked during the day at our office and at night with Integrity Home Care so our precious little lady could remain in her home. She personifies daily what it means to take care of the least of these.

Ms. Kristy was our little lady’s primary staff with Firefly Supported Living and Employment Services and despite her own health journey made sure she enjoyed life to the fullest. Kristy went above and beyond taking her on lots of trips, medical appointments, driving hundreds of miles to make it happen. We want to congratulate her on being named Firefly’s January Employee of the Month.

The Sleigh Is Off Once Again!
One of my Guardian Elf Teams arrived home last night after traveling almost 1,000 miles over the past two days to deliver gifts to the boot heel of Missouri, only to load up for the next team to depart early this morning. One question we are often asked is why we have people placed outside of Newton County. The reason is often times our people require care that we are not able to accommodate in this area for some reason or another.

Thank you to all those who helped make these gifts possible. Delivering your gifts to our people in facilities is a blessing that we do not take for granted. Thank you!

“GLORIOUS CHAOS”
We are so overwhelmed with the generosity of our Newton County community. Our back room is full of Christmas gifts that are ready to go to our Newton County folks in facilities. Thank you so much to everyone who has given or donated items this year. Our veterans and nursing home folks are going to feel warm and loved this Christmas.🎄
