In observance of Labor Day, City offices will be closed Monday, September 7. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00am.

Residential trash pick up will delayed by one day, ie. Monday routes will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday...ending with Friday routes being picked up on Saturday, September 12. If you have questions about your specific pick up day, please call 1-800-431-1507.

During the Rocketdyne Park Inclusive Playground Community Preview on September 10, you’ll have the opportunity to do more than look at plans and pictures.

We’ll be taking attendees out to the future Rocketdyne Park area so you can see firsthand where the playground and other improvements are planned.

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Nancy Tomlinson was recognized by proclamation for 15 years of dedicated service to the City of Neosho.

While serving as part of the Human Resources Department, Nancy’s contributions reached far beyond one department. Throughout her time with the City, she was always willing to step in and lend a hand wherever she was needed, providing valuable support to Human Resources, Finance, Development Services and departments across the organization.

Her willingness to help, knowledge of City operations and dedication to her coworkers have made her a valued part of the City of Neosho team.

As her time with the City comes to a close, we are grateful for the many ways she has contributed to our organization and supported the people around her.

❤️ Help Bring the Rocketdyne Inclusive Playground to Life! 🛝

The vision is taking shape, and now we’re inviting our community to be part of making it happen.

Our Phase 1 goal is $650,000, with the City of Neosho already committing $468,000 toward creating a playground where children and caregivers of all ages and abilities can play, explore and connect together.

Now, we’re looking to our community to help us reach the finish line!

There are many ways to be part of the project, whether you’re an individual, family, business, civic organization, church or foundation. Every contribution helps us get closer to opening a truly inclusive place for our community.

For more than a quarter of a century, Renee Johnson has been a dedicated part of the City of Neosho.

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, she was recognized by proclamation for an incredible 27 years of service to our organization and community.

Throughout her time with the Finance Department, Renee has contributed to the day-to-day operations of the City and supported countless employees, departments and residents along the way. Over 27 years, she has seen many changes, faced new challenges and remained committed to serving Neosho through it all.

As this chapter of her career with the City comes to a close, we are incredibly grateful for the years of knowledge, hard work and dedication she has given to our organization.

Two decades of service is a milestone worth recognizing.

At last night’s City Council meeting, Matt Strohl was recognized by proclamation for 20 years of dedicated service to the City of Neosho.

Throughout his time with the Public Works Department, Matt has spent countless hours working behind the scenes and out in our community to help provide the services Neosho residents depend on every day. His 20 years of service represent a tremendous commitment to our City and the community we serve.

As his time with the City of Neosho comes to a close, we are grateful for the hard work, experience and dedication he has given throughout the years.
