On Saturday, August 29, 2026, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Sheriff T.K. Waters, Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael Key Jr., & Jacksonville Sheriff's Office District 2 Commander Rickie Valentine, and members of the Neptune Beach Police Department & Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are scheduled to walk in Neptune Beach. The walk will start at 10:30 a.m. Participants are asked to park at Neptune Beach Elementary located at 1515 Florida Boulevard, Neptune Beach, Florida 32266.

Sgt. Haines recently visited the students at Neptune Beach Elementary to talk all things e-bike safety!

From wearing a properly fitted helmet to understanding the rules of the road, Sgt. Haines shared important tips to help our young riders stay safe while enjoying the freedom and fun of riding an e-bike.

We love seeing our officers out in the community, connecting with our students and helping build safe habits that last a lifetime. ๐Ÿ’™

A case that began with a sophisticated scam has now reached an important milestone.

The Office of the State Attorney announced that a Duval County jury found Norman Caison guilty of Grand Theft and Money Laundering following an investigation by the Neptune Beach Police Department.

Detective Griffinโ€™s investigation uncovered how the victim was manipulated into withdrawing thousands of dollars and depositing the money into an account controlled by the co-defendant. Investigative efforts ultimately connected Caison to the fraudulent transaction and the subsequent movement of the stolen funds.

Heads up, Neptune Beach!

On Saturday, August 1, approximately 120 bicyclists participating in a group ride will be traveling through the Beaches communities between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Within Neptune Beach, the ride will only affect 1st Street. The cyclists will be escorted, and any traffic delays are expected to be brief.

If youโ€™re traveling in the area during this time, please use caution, be patient, and follow the directions of law enforcement officers assisting with the event.
