After six years (hard to believe!) December 31st will mark my final day serving as Councilman for Neptune City. I want to sincerely thank the residents for placing their trust in me and for allowing me the privilege of serving on the Borough Council. It has been an honor.
Over these years, we worked to strengthen our small-town character while continuing to move Neptune City forward welcoming new local businesses, keeping affordability a priority, and bringing back family-focused and community events that reminded us why this is such a special place to call home. Every decision was made with the goal of ensuring Neptune City remains a place where families can put down roots, neighbors know one another, and community still matters.
To my friends and family who supported me every step of the way - your encouragement, patience, and belief in me meant more than you will ever know. And to my new friends I've met through the years, I am thankful for you!
I am deeply grateful to our outstanding department heads, borough employees, and first responders for the work you do each and every day. Your dedication never goes unnoticed, and it has been a privilege to work alongside all of you.
To my colleagues on the governing body, past and present, I wish you continued success in the important work ahead whether on council or in your personal lives.
I also want to thank my runningmate Danielle Pappas for her friendship, partnership, and tireless dedication over the years. Running together and serving alongside you has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey, and I am incredibly grateful for everything we achieved as a team!
Above all, I want to thank my wife, Katey, for her unwavering support - especially during the most challenging times - and my son, Colin, who continually reminds me of what truly matters in life. Never have two people meant more to me. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our family, and I hope I have made you both proud.
While this chapter is coming to a close, I look forward to turning the page and embracing what lies ahead. Thank you, Neptune City, for the privilege of being your elected official. It has truly been an honor to serve.
