⚠️🌪️ TORNADO WATCH 🌪️⚠️

A Tornado Watch has been issued for our area until 9 PM this evening. Thunderstorms are forecast to impact our area through this afternoon into evening. Storms may become severe resulting in damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH. Large hail and a tornado or two are also possible.

Residents are encouraged to secure all loose outdoor items including furniture and garbage cans. If you observe a downed power line, please stay clear and call 911. If you experience a power outage, please contact JCP&L by texting “OUT” to LIGHTS (544487) or by calling 888-LIGHTSS (888-544-4877). 💨🔋💡

Severe thunderstorms are also often accompanied by heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding. Residents are reminded to never drive through flooded roadways!
