Tonight’s weekly drill focused on searches along the hose line. While following the hose line, members conducted a search of the building. During the search, members encountered several low profile obstacles and an entanglement hazard. Our cadets train just as hard as our regular members and we are extremely proud of them! They are our future!

Last evening, the Neptune City Fire Department Cadet Program had the opportunity to train in an acquired residential structure. Members learned how to stretch and advance hose lines and conduct primary and secondary searches with limited visibility. Members reviewed basic firefighter survival tactics and also had the oppurtunity to practice forcible entry techniques. A HUGE thank you to the Bast and Morcom families for their continued support to the Cadet Program.

A huge thank you to the West Belmar Fire Department Cadet program for inviting us to be a part of this awesome training.
