Work began this weekend on the Fire Departments new roof training prop at the Neptune Emergency Services Training Center. Once completed, this will benefit all Neptune Fire Companies in ventilation and roof operations.

“Situational Awareness” training was delivered to firefighters from Neptune Township, Long Branch and Ocean Grove. The training session was held at Shark River Hills Firehouse in Neptune. Over 40 student were in attendance. The class was delivered by All Hands Fire

Neptune Firefighters assigned to the Neptune Special Operations Team deployed last week to Middlesex County. Members rescued and evacuated dozens of residents of Piscataway Township, Middlesex Borough, Highland Park Borough and the City of New Brunswick. The teams worked with Middlesex USAR and also the local fire, EMS and OEM agencies.

Neptune Firefighters battle a van fire in the Walmart parking lot on Highway 66. This fire occurred just before 9:00 pm on August 18.
Hamilton Fire Company and Shark River Hills Fire Company responded.
