CCT Planning would like to congratulate Ronnie Bell and Lachelle Ives on completing their Bachelor’s Degrees.

Balancing higher education with work and family responsibilities is no small accomplishment, and we are proud of their hard work and dedication.

CCT Planning strongly supports staff pursuing higher education, training, and professional development opportunities that strengthen both our department and the services we provide to the community.

According to US Census Educational Attainment Data, 15.1% of people on the Colville Indian Reservation have completed a bachelors degree or higher. CCT Planning Planning and Grants staff all now have either a bachelors or masters degree.

Each year, CCT Planning recognizes a team member who helps shape not just our work, but our workplace.

This is a tradition we were proud to revive a few years ago—one originally started by past CCT Planning staff like Smoker Marchand and Mary Beth Clark, who understood the importance of recognizing the people behind the work.

For 2025–2026, we’re proud to recognize Shelly Clark as our Most Inspirational Planner Award recipient.

Her impact isn’t always loud—but it’s constant, and it’s felt by everyone around her.

The CCT Planning Department is saddened to share the passing of former Grants Writer Lisa True.

Lisa brought a warm spirit, a great sense of humor, and a deep appreciation for her family into the workplace. She was a valued part of our team during her time with us, and we are grateful for the role she played in supporting the work of our department.

We also take this moment to remember other members of the Planning Department family who have passed during this era of our work. Bridget Boyd (2018) and Smoker Marchand (2023) each contributed to the growth, progress, and success of CCT Planning in their own ways. Their efforts helped shape the department into what it is today.

All three are deeply missed—not only for their professional contributions, but for who they were as people. We carry their memory with us in the work we continue to do.

Our thoughts are with their families, friends, and all who knew them.
