I am reaching out regarding the training announcement for classes that are coming up. The dates have been selected and scheduled. They are enclosed in the attached document.

Busy weekend for the basic fire academy program at the Carbon County EOTC! Conducted evolutions on fire streams, hoseline advancement, fire suppression and sprinklers. Great work by all!

Last night at the Carbon County Emergency Operations Training Center the Basic Fire Academy students completed victim rescues down a ladder (conscious and unconscious victims) and operating a hoseline from a ladder. Great work by all!

Working with ladders today at the training center. Great job by all! Special thanks to Lehighton FD and Weatherly FD for providing apparatus and equipment as the success of completing these training evolutions could not have been done without your assistance!

Today at the training center we covered Forcible Entry, water supply (drafting) and hose rolls! Keep up the great work!

Basic Fire Academy Program started at the training center on Monday, focusing on firefighter safety. Tonight we are finishing firefighter safety, covering helicopter/landing zone operations, riding fire apparatus, setting up emergency work zone and scene lighting.
