The Borough of Nesquehoning would like to inform residents that street sweeping will begin today and continue throughout the rest of the week starting at 7:30am.

🧹 Please assist us in keeping our streets clean by:

-Moving vehicles off the street during sweeping times.
-Following any posted parking restrictions.
-Allowing crews to safely and efficiently complete their work.

Your cooperation helps improve road conditions and keeps our community looking its best.

This important conversation brought together law enforcement and federal leadership to share insights, challenges, and strategies aimed at combating the devastating impact of fentanyl in our communities. Collaboration at all levels is critical as we continue working to protect our residents and save lives.

The Nesquehoning Police Department remains committed to proactive enforcement, education, and community partnership in the fight against opioid addiction and drug-related crime.

The Borough of Nesquehoning has declared a State of Emergency due to the anticipated severe winter storm expected to impact our area.

❄️ Significant snowfall and hazardous road conditions are expected.

🚫 Residents are strongly advised to stay off the roads to allow emergency personnel and plow crews to operate safely and effectively.
