Good evening everyone! If any is interested in some free fire wood please come up to our station located at 7 East Diaz Avenue in Nesquehoning. We have been recently removing a few trees and its free for the taking. Please come help yourself! There are some logs already cut in our hall parking lot and some bigger stuff located to the rear of our station where the apparatus are located. You will need to bring a saw. Thank you.

Last night at 6:30pm we went to the Nesquehoning Hose Company #1 to see a demo from PPL Electric Utilities. They taught us many safety aspects when it comes to ppl power with their safety trailer. Thank you to them for taking the time to come teach us. Then at 10:30pm we were dispatched for a fire alarm in the borough. This morning at 8:45am the district was dispatched for a CO alarm in the borough. Thank you to all of our first responders that continue to protect our borough.

For tonight's fire practice we did advancing a charged and uncharged hose into our old station and to a second floor. We also practiced putting some ladders up. Great night for training!

This afternoon the district along with DCNR and district 11 were dispatched to a brush fire in the borough. Great job by everyone!
