Netcong Borough This is the Official page for the Borough of Netcong The Borough of Netcong is located in the north western section of Morris County.

Netcong was incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on October 23, 1894, from portions of both Mount Olive Township and Roxbury Township, based on the results of a referendum held the previous day

As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 3,232.

Lenape Valley Regional High School will host the 3rd Annual Patriot 5K – Halloween Edition on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from approximately 9:00–11:00 AM. The race will begin and end at LVR and travel through portions of the surrounding Stanhope neighborhood. Sparta Road, Brooklyn Road, Hickory Drive, Oak Drive, Spencer Street, Valley Road, and the Linden Avenue/Linden Terrace area may experience temporary traffic delays or restricted access while runners and walkers are on the course. Motorists are asked to use extra caution and follow the directions of police, race officials, and volunteers. Thank you for your patience and support of this community event!

Due to scheduling conflicts and several last-minute cancellations, the 100th-year celebration of the Netcong School Building will be postponed to Spring 2027. The Shcool will share more information in the new year. Thank you for your understanding.

This Saturday, September 19th, the Borough will be host a shred event from 9am-12pm at the Netcong Recycling Center located at 23 Flanders Road. Residents are welcome to bring any ad all documents and otherwise that they need shredded.
