MORE PROGRAMMING COMING UP FOR ADULTS AT THE NEVADA PUBLIC LIBRARY!

June 8—Puzzle competition, 5:30 p.m. (registration required)
June 19—Adult Craft Afternoon- Book Vases- 4 p.m. (registration required)
June 22—Plant Swap Bingo-6 p.m., FREE, bring a plant to donate to the prize table if you would like
June 29—Soma Yoga at the library, 6 p.m., free-will donation (registration required due to space)
July 6—Adult Craft Night, 6 p.m.
July 10—Soma Yoga in the Park (in front of City Hall), 10:30 a.m. (rain/weather location will be 1 p.m. in the library meeting room)
July 13—Ghost Towns of Story County, 6 p.m. Dave Baker, essayist and photographer of “The 29th State” will be in Nevada to talk about Story County Ghost towns, railroad stations, and communities of yesterday. Baker is an Iowa author, photographer, and speaker, based in Ankeny.
July 27—Soma Yoga 6 p.m. library meeting room (registration required due to space)

This is such a fun time, be sure to join!

Do you remember the simple joy of coloring as a kid?
Coloring is now a popular adult activity, and you won't find a better start to your day then joining Assistant Library Director Danielle for "Coffee, Coloring & Conversation!"
The next two coloring events are on Thursdays, June 4 and July 9, at 8:30 a.m. at Renn's Cafe on Sixth Street.
"I'd love to see more people attend. It's super informal, and we chat about bookish/library things, sip our drink of choice and color."
All coloring supplies are provided, but bring your own if you wish. The event is free, but you are responsible for the money to buy your beverages and treats. See you soon!
