On Saturday, some of our members and officers had the opportunity to attend an outstanding VEIS class hosted by Faught VFD in partnership with Chandler Fire Solutions.

VEIS (Vent, Enter, Isolate, Search) is a highly specialized and aggressive rescue tactic used by firefighters to quickly locate and save trapped victims during a structure fire especially when traditional entry points are compromised by smoke, heat, or flames. Training like this is critical to fulfilling our mission and protecting our community.

This class provided a great opportunity for our team to sharpen their skills, practice real-world techniques, and build strong connections within the fire service.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Faught VFD Captain Tyler Browning for leading the instruction, along with co-instructors Dylan Chandler (Faught VFD) and Trace Bussell (Powderly VFD). We look forward to more training opportunities in the future!
