What a day! We celebrated the 50th Day of School in style with a total throwback! Our students learned the classic hand jive and celebrated with an afternoon of delicious Coke Floats!🍦🥤 A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for furnishing all the ice cream, and a special shoutout to Coca-Cola for generously providing the cups and cokes. Your support made this 50s-themed celebration a huge success! We can't wait for the 100th day!

It's Children's Book Week! The best way to join in the fun is to read. Read at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Read an extra book at bedtime. Read out loud or on your own. Read to your pets! Tell people about your favorite stories and let them tell you theirs.

We are celebrating at Nevils Elementary School by giving every student a FREE book this week! We are also starting the November Book Bonanza 67 Reading Challenge which will last until the end of November. Happy reading!

Congratulations to Addie Howard, Nevils Elementary, who won 1st place in her grade level in the Bulloch County Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest. The theme for this year is "Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free!"

As we spent this past week enjoying our Fall Break, Boss's Day came and passed! However, we did not want it to pass by without giving our two favorite people a shout out. We are incredibly fortunate to be led by the best administrative team ever! Their collaborative spirit ensures we always move forward with a unified vision, providing strong and thoughtful leadership for our faculty and staff. But what truly sets them apart is their special love and genuine connection with our students. They are the heart of our school, balancing exceptional professional guidance with a deep commitment to making this a positive, nurturing, and inspiring place to learn and grow. We appreciate you! We hope you were able to enjoy some of your week relaxing with your loved ones!!
