Mayor Olson and city hall staff welcomed 3rd grade students from New Albany, MS Elementary School. The children got a tour of the building and learned about the different jobs that people do at city hall. Even Sparky from New Albany Fire/Rescue stopped by to say hello.

At City Hall, you never know who will come to visit.

🛑Due to increasing rain chances this Saturday, we have decided to postpone the Great American Clean Up Day to Saturday, March 28th.
New Albany Main Street, in partnership with Keep Mississippi Beautiful and Keep New Albany Beautiful, is gearing up for the annual Great American Clean Up Day, a community-wide effort focused on preserving the beauty and vitality of downtown New Albany, Union County, and surrounding neighborhoods. Volunteers typically meet at the Union County Heritage Museum (114 Cleveland St.) at 9:00 a.m. to receive supplies before dispersing to parks, streets, and public spaces to remove litter and refresh key areas.
This event brings together local businesses, civic groups, students, churches, families, and individuals to promote environmental stewardship, community pride, and a cleaner, more welcoming New Albany.
Groups may still register by emailing [email protected], and more information about local beautification programs can be found at visitnewalbany.com/keepnabeautiful and newalbanymainstreet.com.
