The next Stormwater Board meeting will be held at the Floyd County Judicial Center, 311 Hauss Square (Old City County Building) on the third floor. The meeting is scheduled for September 1st starting at 4:30pm.

If you have any questions or need help in finding the meeting room, please feel free to contact our office.

Effective September 1, 2026, all board meetings that were previously held at the Pineview Government Center will now be held at:

Floyd County Judicial Center
311 Hauss Square
3rd Floor Assembly Room
New Albany, Indiana 47150

The hit or miss storms will be rolling through our county over the next couple of days. They could produce localized flooding. Make sure you stay out of areas that normally flood. Also, if you live near a storm drain and it is covered with leaves and other debris feel free to clean it off. Our crews are out getting to as many as we can, but we can always use the publics help.
Remember turn around, don't drown!

Be careful in areas prone to flooding. Don’t drown, turn around.

Radar update: a good amount of storms off to our west and to our north have caused a good amount of downed trees and localized flash flooding. Storms are still expected in our area later this evening and tonight. We will have another update out in the next hour or two with the latest.
