Rauch, Inc. is looking for a Community Based Service Technician in New Albany, IN. If helping others is your passion, this could be the perfect opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a workplace setting.

Provide supervision and support to the individuals served.

Help students connect with opportunities after high school while building their skills and confidence.

What You’ll Do
• Plan and deliver programming for students in the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program.
• Partner with Vocational Rehabilitation.
• Advocate for student choice in providers.
• Assist with job matching and identifying support needs.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED and 1 year of experience in special education, supported employment, or transition services, or a bachelor’s degree in human services.

Bonus
• $350 sign-on bonus

Our friend David Wright has sadly passed away. He was at RI for over 30 years and at HG for over 15. We in day services only worked with David since the Covid summer of 2020 and what a delight he was. He could have an edge but he was also a connective tissue supporting people he had little in common with. When day services returned to Fairmont the next year David decided he was ready to try such. David was creative, very proud of his abilities with paint and sculpture. He loved to sing and enjoyed a good joke. He loved to travel. When his health declined he moved to a local facility where we at day services tried our best to maintain contact, often visiting weekly. David was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
