Safely Dispose of Unused or Expired Medications!

Drug take-back boxes are now available for the public to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.

You can find one conveniently located in the lobby of the Floyd County Health Department, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and another outside of the Georgetown Police Department.

This program accepts prescription and over-the-counter medications. Please note that sharps, needles, biohazards, and liquids are NOT accepted.

Proper disposal helps prevent misuse and protects our environment—thank you for doing your part!
