Are you interested in implementing conservation practices and helping Hellbenders at the same time? Check out this opportunity to receive cost share from a Clean Water Indiana grant.
This project focuses on vegetative conservation practices to reduce agricultural runoff in the Blue-Sinking and Silver-Little Kentucky Watersheds.

Join us on March 21st at 9 AM at Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park to help remove invasive honeysuckle and protect our native habitat! We will remove invasive honeysuckle that crowds out native plants, reduce biodiversity, and harm local wildlife. Every helping hand makes a difference!

The joint Annual Meeting with our friends of Purdue Extension Floyd County was held Monday, Feb.2nd. While enjoying the catered meal of chicken and dumplings, attendees heard an informative presentation from Matt Kraushar of INDOT about ROW maintenance. The district recognized Tim Moberly and Brother Don Bassana as Conservation Stewards, and presented outgoing supervisor Melanie Palaisa with a certificate of appreciation for her service on the board. The district welcomes newly elected supervisor Cara Bezuska!
