One of the newest parks in Floyd County, Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park has a ton to offer. It’s home to the parks’ largest shelter, which can be split in half and holds 11 tables on each side. Other major features include Romeo Langford Basketball Court (which received the “Court of the Month” from Nova Sports in July 2019), Elliott and Sue Phillips Pavilion (a covered basketball court with built-in lighting), KFC Amphitheater, a playground, and a 3/4 mile walking trail. If that wasn’t enough, plans are underway to add a splash pad and an all inclusive playground!
