The purpose shall be to foster and promote the expansion of existing business and industry within the Village of New Auburn and its environs, to promote the development of new businesses and industries within said Village of New Auburn and its environs, to introduce existing businesses and industries to locate their places of business and manufacturing plants within said Village of New Auburn in i
ts environs, to promote and assist educational, recreational and charitable activities, projects, and enterprises and institutions within said Village of New Auburn and its environs; to acquire for such purposes such real and personal properties as shall from time to time necessary or desirable, to construct on such real estate such buildings and structures as may be needed for any business, industrial, educational, recreational or charitable enterprise to own, hold, mortgage, invest in, re-invest in, lease and manage all such properties, buildings and structures, to assist charitable enterprises financially and otherwise, and to do any and all things necessary or incident to the best accomplishment of all the foregoing purposes.
