That's what one little boy experiences in our Children's Book of the Week, "Fire Truck" by Peter Sis! This book is recommended for children under 4 years old 🚒👨‍🚒
And bring the kids by the library at 2pm tomorrow to see a real fire truck from the New Augusta Volunteer Fire Department! See you then!

Children's Book of the Week
"Gadgetology" is a book you and your child can use together when your child whines about nothing to do during the summer school break. The book has plenty of fun ideas for things to do with kitchen gadgets from simple recipes to crafts, games and experiments.

We put a reminder up yesterday about our first summer activity for kids and after looking at it, I decided it looked a little boring. So I checked with Latoya about what her activity is and she says she will not be speaking! Instead, the kids will be making sensory bottles. These are for calming and stress relief! She says the kids will enjoy making them and will have them to take home with them. See you Thursday!

Latoya Brown from the Perry County Extension Office will be speaking on "Family Health and Wellness" from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm, and snacks and drinks will be provided!
