On Tues., 09/08 at 6:00 PM, the Village of New Berlin will conduct a public hearing at the Village Office (13 South Main Street) regarding the use of State-issued Home-Rule authority to sell 7.6 acres of undeveloped, unutilized village-owned property on Grove Street to Good Shepherd Communities for the construction of the new Chase Memorial Nursing Home.

From Monday through Wednesday, 14-16 Sept, Lake St and Whitmore Ave are scheduled to be milled and resurfaced. Travelers should plan for extended periods of one-lane traffic and slow-moving traffic in these areas. Residents living on these streets should also plan to keep doors and windows closed to minimize construction-related dust. Future work on the Village drinking water project will not negate this necessary maintenance.
