The New Berlin Police Department is excited to offer a FREE Bike Safety Course for kids ages 6–15!

Join members of the New Berlin Police Department for a fun, hands-on course designed to help young riders build confidence and learn how to stay safe while riding their bicycle, e-bike, or e-scooter.

📅 Choose from two sessions:
• Thursday, August 27 | 6:00–7:30 PM
• Saturday, August 29 | 9:00–10:30 AM

🚴 Participants should bring their own bicycle, e-bike, or e-scooter and must have a properly fitted helmet.
⚠️ Please note: Electric motorcycles, mini bikes, dirt bikes, and other motorized vehicles are not permitted.
👨‍👩‍👧 We request that a parent or guardian of younger children remain on-site during the course.

The National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is underway now through Labor Day weekend. The Village of Big Bend, Town of Brookfield, Town of Mukwonago and New Berlin Police Departments will be placing additional emphasis on identifying alcohol and drug impaired drivers.

Today Tuesday 08/18/2026, annual maintenance and service is scheduled for the Outdoor Warning Sirens in New Berlin. This work will included short (30 seconds or less) audible testing between the hours of 9:30am - 4 pm.

Officer Rittenhouse had a blast at the Paw Patrol movie release at the Marcus Ridge Cinema this weekend! 🍿 The Waukesha County Sheriff's K-9 Jet also came out to meet the community! Jet was on the case this weekend ;) 🐾 🎬
