New Berlin, PA The Borough of New Berlin is located in central Pennsylvania on the southern edge of Union County.

It sits along Penns Creek which is the dividing line between Union and Snyder County. πŸŽ‰ We’re looking for 3–4 additional volunteers and β€œFriends of New Berlin” to join our team as we prepare for New Berlin Day 2026

Event Date & Time:
Saturday, August 22, 2026
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM!

New Berlin Day is truly a community effort, and we’re looking for people who want to help us continue this important tradition while having some fun along the way.

πŸ“… Commitment:
June – August (next 3 months leading up to the event)

⏰ Meetings:
We meet 1–2 times per month for approximately 30–45 minutes to:
✨ Share quick updates
✨ Brainstorm ideas
✨ Problem solve
✨ Assign small tasks

Between meetings, most volunteers simply help by making a few phone calls, sending emails, or helping move projects forward.

Good Morning, New Berlin!

2026 Spring Brush and Limb Clean-Up will be held April 25th.

2026 Town-Wide Yard Sales will be held May 2nd.
Yard sales may be set up at Plum Street Park (former elementary school grounds) by registering with the Borough Office and paying a $10.00 fee

A flyer will be ready for mailing sometime next week.

The State Dog Warden for Union and Snyder Counties contacted the Borough and asked that we post some information as notification to our community about their intent to increase enforcement of dog laws this year.

πŸ“’ Dog License & Rabies Vaccination Checks

Officers will be conducting canvases throughout the borough/township to check for valid dog licenses and rabies vaccinations.

If you own a dog, please make sure:
βœ” Your dog has a current license
βœ” Your dog’s rabies vaccination is up to date

This helps protect both public health and the safety of our pets 🐾
