✨ Congratulations to Our Creekside BT3 Graduates! ✨

Craven County Schools proudly celebrated 63 Beginning Teacher 3 (BT3) educators as they completed their Beginning Teacher journey and transitioned into full teacher status after three successful years of growth, leadership, and learning.

A huge congratulations to our very own Avery McCarthy, Kaitlyn Holt, Kellyann Jackson! We are so proud of each of you and so lucky to have you as part of the Creekside family. Your hard work, dedication, continued education, studying, and perseverance through testing and licensure requirements have truly paid off.

Today was a bittersweet moment as our fifth graders walked the halls of Creekside one last time. 💚🐊

From their very first days as little crocodiles to becoming leaders in our school, they have filled these hallways with laughter, learning, friendships, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will do next.

Once a crocodile, always a crocodile. 💚
Good luck, fifth graders — Creekside will always be cheering you on!

May Board of Education Recognition Meeting

Future-Ready Leadership

Future-Ready Leadership (FRL) is a leadership development program for practicing assistant principals. The program, provided by the NC Principals and Assistant Principals’ Association, is aligned to the performance evaluation standards adopted by the State Board of Education for North Carolina’s school leaders. Through this cohort-driven model, assistant principals will participate in six face-to-face sessions and engage in assignments, projects, and readings designed to build their schools' capacity and their own capacity as “Future-Ready” school leaders.

Our fifth graders had their final dance as elementary school students, and what a memorable night it was! 🌺🌴 Volunteers worked so hard to create a fun Luau celebration for our students as they close this chapter and prepare for middle school.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated their time, decorations, and support to make this special night possible for our students. 💙
