Craven County Water customers in areas east/southeast of Havelock (Harlowe, Adams Creek Road, etc.) will have their next bill calculated based on estimated usage.
Contractors are in the area replacing water meters, and billing should return to normal based on actual readings during the following billing cycle.
Craven County appreciates your patience as we work towards modernizing our meter system.

Craven County Water will be working to relocate water lines as a result of upgrades to US Highway 70 between the Havelock Bypass and Thurman Road.

Craven County Water customers between James City and Carolina Pines, including Old Cherry Point Road and Brices Creek, may notice slight water discoloration, low pressure, or air in water lines as a result of these water line relocations. There is no health or safety risk associated with these changes, and crews will work to mitigate effects as much as possible.

Should any health risk to Craven County Water customers be identified, the County will provide a separate notification.

Thank you for your understanding. Any questions can be directed to Craven County Water at (252) 636-6615.
