We are now starting Round 3 for our Cutest Dog Contest! We've narrowed it down to our Top 20 dogs who've collected the most donations. The competition is now getting a little more fierce!

Round 3 voting begins today, August 17th and ends on Saturday, August 22nd. Next week is the final round of voting, which will be narrowed down to our Top 10 dogs.

If you want to support your favorite dog to keep them in the race, donating to the library is the way to go!

We've fulfilled our promise. Food Truck Friday is officially back on!

We were fortunate enough to get another food truck to come for the month of August. This time, a local food truck based in West Kittanning!

Vic & Nicalena's Wood Fired Pizza will be set-up in the library parking lot from 11 AM to 6 PM (or until they are sold out) on Friday, August 14th.

Help support a local business & grab a pizza for lunch!

For those who are curious to see who's made it to Round 2 for the Cutest Dog Contest, here's the list of dog(s) who's left in the race!

If you want your dog (or dogs) to level up to Round 3 (Top 20), come stop by the library to drop in a donation to the library as a vote for your favorite dog (the dog that makes the most money will win a doggie goodie basket and bragging rights!)

*If an owner has more than one dog, those dogs are grouped together as one submission.

We've had a last minute cancellation for the food truck that was supposed to be here this Friday.

If there's any local food trucks interested in serving at the library this Friday, August 14th or any other Friday during August, please let us know.

Round 1 of the Cutest Dog Contest is officially over! We want to thank each and every one of you who submitted your dogs into our Cutest Dog Contest. We've eliminated half of the dogs submitted in, and we've limited it down to 50 dogs.

Remember, if you want to keep your dog in the running, you'll have to stop by the library and drop a small donation for your favorite dog. Round Two of voting will go on from today, August 10th to Saturday, August 15th.

The grand prize is a basket full of dog treats and toys!

With August being our "Dog Days of the Summer" month, we have a craft class dedicated to your furry companions on Monday, August 17th!

This time, we are doing a shelf-sitter class made from cement and decoupage. A cute, sentimental shelf / desk decoration to remind yourself of how much you love your pets.

We have 15 spots available for this class. There will be a $10 fee to attend the class, and be sure to bring a 2" x 2" picture of yourself & your dogs (or a photo with just your dogs) so you can decoupage it onto your shelf-sitter.
